Questions
Appliance Removal, answered
Do you disconnect the water line on a washer or fridge?
Yes, when there is a working shutoff valve. If the valve is seized or the connection is hard-plumbed we will tell you rather than risk a flood, and you can have a plumber cap it before we come back.
What happens to an old fridge?
Refrigerant is recovered by a certified handler before the metal is recycled. Dumping a sealed unit is illegal and we do not do it.
Can you take a gas stove?
Yes, if the gas line is already disconnected and capped. We are not licensed to break a gas connection.
